An illustration that I have wanted to do for a long time, but was never quite certain how to begin. Not long ago, the solution suddenly struck me...and this is the end product.
So, why is Lucaro-chan holding a glowing harmonica in a field full of...bubbley things? Heh! Well, it's because Luke finds a very normal and regular non-glowy harmonica in a very normal and regular non-bubbly alley, but he's having an epiphany at this very moment and, in attempting to capture that feeling...my imagination got carried away. ^_^;;; It was a lot more fun this way, anyhow!
Well, this is absolutely brilliant, finally seeing the end product after such hard work is fantastics and this is a great piece of work

Lol! Yes, some of them are definitely reminiscent of jellyfish. I blame that on Hideyuki Kikuchi. He has some of the weirdest imagery in his books. Blood bubbles with toxic streamers, floating sentient globes in the desert. Yah... It was just going to be bubbles b/c bubbles are cool, but the jellyfish effect is largely Kikuchi's fault. ^_^'

*laughs* Some authors have the weirdest things floating around their heads, don't they? Meanwhile, it seems like this author/artist would prefer to put weird things floating around the heads of her characters.
Amazing, the light from the glowing thing looks beautiful, I would like to see a bit stronger light in her face, just to tie her face and the objct together more.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Aside from that, though, there's nothing wrong with letting your imagination run wild. It can make life much less boring than it usually is.
