*grins* This is not nearly all the progression steps I saved. I had 14 by the time I was finished, but I threw several away while I was working. These nine show the most obvious steps. I worked mostly from the back forward, totally ignoring Julian until the "Sans" version was complete. I used photo reference for the mountains, the larger tree, the horse, and Julian's face. Everything else is more or less from memory or imagination. I really wanted to keep the moon in a cresent phase, but my brother and mother kept telling me that the image was too bright for that dark of a moon. So, finally, I made it fuller, but, I still refused to make it a perfectly full moon. That's just way too overdone!
